The bacon sundae at Burger King sounds like it could hit the spot for bacon lover fans, but in my opinion it's a big miss. When I heard about the bacon sundae I anticipated an ice cream, infused with bacon flavor, topped with crunchy morsels of bacon while drizzled with rich chocolate. What I actually received in this taste sample was an ice cream sundae with bacon on top. As a lover of chocolate covered bacon I knew that the combination of chocolate and bacon would be good, but the ice cream was going to be the challenging part. There was absolutely no infusion of the bacon and ice cream in this sundae. It was not cohesive at all. It could have been better if the ice cream itself picked up the bacon flavor. Let's face it though; this type of treatment could only be truly pulled off properly at a gourmet ice cream parlor. Burger King did however provide a nice amount of bacon so that you had enough to go right through the entire sundae. In all, the sundae was simply not interesting. True bacon lovers would likely find it boring. The price of $2.50 for what you get is just not worth it.

Pam, one of my best friends and dear friend I'm so sorry I have not had a chance to send a review in for this. My wedding seemed to be the top focus at the time. Truly sorry. Burger King's Bacon Sundae I walked in their and asked for it and was surprised when it took longer to get this than a whopper meal on the menu. I didn't order anything other than the Sundae people their were super nice. I agree with Pam in saying that it was a bit of a miss, they made a normal Sundae and then the lady took gloves out and tore up pieces of Bacon and just topped it off. I like the taste of the bacon tasted like it was smoked maple of some sort had a sweetness to it, that I loved. I think the ice cream should have already been made with bacon infused in it, would have been a lot tastier. All and all I dont think I wasted my time or money on it. Definetly was an experience and I didnt' not like it. Just dont think I'd ever get it again.
